Smaller HUDs

A while back I think I remember some people saying how big the stock HUD is and that you can't see shit cos of it,

Well after some browsing on the DoD forums, I came across these two custom HUDs.

Ultra-right mini HUD (http://www.dayofdefeat.net/forums/showthread.php?t=73255) (I haven't tried this one yet but it looks to be the smallest I can find)
INsane_dod's HUD v8 (http://www.dayofdefeat.net/forums/showthread.php?t=73254) (I currently use this one and I find it far better than the default one)

Both come with .exe installers which, as far as I know, don't contain anything apart from the HUDs. They have some options which allow for some basic customisation of the HUD.

Yeah, the INsane one is quite decent, but i'm not a fan of the over populated team select screen. I'd recommend just the main hud. It's nice and neat, and the font is much better. It also darkens the scoreboard, which would help when you do screenies of the score, because sometimes you can quite see them if you are looking at the sky.

i've had insane's hud for a long while, its definatly worth using, the stock is so bad compared to this you must try it!!!!

i agree, at first i was a bit skeptical on the team select screen, but after using the hud for about 6months, although i had to change a few things ;-)
its great, cant go back to using the old one.
